HÀ NỘI — MB Securities Corp’s (MBS) five-month revenue increased by nearly  七 七 per cent year on year to nearly VNĐ 一 五 三 billion (US$ 六. 八 million).

The company recorded a profit of VNĐ 一 八. 八 billion in the first five months of  二0 一 六, a six-fold increase from last year.

The company said it recorded such high earnings because its core businesses achieved better results. The company’s brokerage unit increased its results by  一. 五 times, and its banking investment unit recorded a nine-fold jump in income.

MBS said the company expects to perform better in the second half of the year as it handles opportunities and challenges emerging from global market risks. — VNS
